I was made aware that I was not backing up my laptop after a friends crashed and they lost 10 days work. I had NEVER backed up my laptop since buying it 18 month ago! Luckily nothing went wrong in that time, but what if !!. What if, is no longer a concern because I contacted Liz at rethink your IT, she remotely accessed my Laptop to see what programs I already had installed, back up was missing so she was able to very quickly and remotely install software that now backs up my laptop in real time to the cloud, so no issues with external hard drives failing. Whether your information is with your current provider, scattered across notebooks, or in your head, we’ll work together to get everything documented. If your current provider is unresponsive, don’t worry—we’ll still ensure a smooth transition and comprehensive support.

  • Collecting Staff Information

As part of onboarding, we’ll gather the names, roles, and contact details of all your team members, along with the software they use. This ensures that when someone calls, we’re already familiar with their tools and needs, saving time and preventing frustration. We aim to offer personalised support from day one.

  • Welcome Email and Support Access

After onboarding, each member of your team will receive a welcome email outlining how to get in touch with us for IT support. We’ll make sure everyone knows exactly who to contact when an issue arises, ensuring your team can easily access the help they need, whenever they need it.

  • Future Planning and Upgrades

Part of our onboarding process includes a review of your IT infrastructure to identify any potential upgrades or replacements. We’ll help you plan for future technology needs, minimising emergency purchases and keeping costs predictable. If there’s a way to increase your productivity through technology, we’ll let you know.
